Terms of Service
Last updated: October 28, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and HammerCore Group ("we", "us"), which operates Bid Watch at thebidwatch.com. By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to these terms. If you're using Bid Watch for a company, you agree on its behalf.
1. What Bid Watch provides
Bid Watch collects publicly posted government construction bid opportunities, adds information such as typical award amounts, recent winners and AI-generated scope summaries, and sends you alerts based on the trades and states you choose.
2. Information is for guidance only
- Bid listings come from public government sources. We don't guarantee that every opportunity is captured, or that listings are complete, current or error-free.
- Always read the official posting for scope, requirements, amendments and deadlines before bidding. The official solicitation controls.
- Typical winning prices are based on past awards for similar work and are not a quote for any specific job.
- AI scope & quantities summaries are estimates generated from the documents. They can be incomplete or wrong and are not a measured takeoff.
- Whether to bid, and how much, is your decision. We are not responsible for bids you submit, win or lose.
3. Accounts
Keep your login private and give us accurate information. You're responsible for activity on your account. Team plans may add up to the number of people included in the plan.
4. Subscriptions, free trials and billing
- Plans: Starter, Pro and Team are billed monthly in advance at the prices shown on our pricing page when you subscribe.
- Free trial: new subscriptions include a 14-day free trial. Your card is charged when the trial ends unless you cancel before then.
- Automatic renewal: subscriptions renew each month until canceled. You can cancel at any time, and you keep access until the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds: payments are non-refundable except where required by law, or where we decide otherwise at our discretion.
- Price changes: we may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email. Founding member pricing is honored for as long as your subscription stays active without interruption.
- Payments are processed by Wix and its payment providers.
5. Takeoff services
Takeoff requests are quoted before any work begins and are billed separately from subscriptions. A takeoff is delivered based on the documents available at the time. We'll correct clear errors in our work, but you're responsible for verifying quantities before using them in a bid. Our total liability for a takeoff is limited to the amount you paid for it.
6. Acceptable use
Use Bid Watch for your own business. Don't resell or redistribute our alerts or data, share your account outside your plan, scrape the site, or interfere with how it works.
7. Our content
The Bid Watch website, design, alerts and summaries belong to us. Public government data remains public. You may use the information we send for your own bidding.
8. Disclaimers
Bid Watch is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and uninterrupted availability.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost contracts or bid costs. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.
10. Ending your account
You can cancel at any time. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms or don't pay.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here and email subscribers about significant changes. Continuing to use Bid Watch after a change means you accept it.
